Warning ( Some NON Islamic Zabiha in the menu ) BE CAREFUL !
I was there yesterday, My friends ordered Shawarma and I ordered Cheeseburger. We was talking that some of the restaurants menus contain not Zabiha Halal. one of my friend said that even Alsalam has some non-zabiha Halal items. I directly asked the employees there and one of them said everything is Zabiha Halal but directly older one said NO there is one is not Zabiha Halal but it is Halal. I said HOW COME ! he replied I really don't know how to tell you but what I mean is it is Zabiha but not islamic Zabiha !!!!! I asked him what is that meal , He said the Burgers !!! @#@$%#@.

I consider that cheating and dishonesty from the owner of the restaurant. I would never get back there , never ever.

anyway I found that this attitude is very common with Arab and Iranian restaurants where they mean by Zabiah Halal is that it is Zabiha but not necessary islamic, and whatever it would be Halal because it is Zabiha as many Muslim believe that Jews Zabiha is Zabiha Halal.

I went to this restaurant three weeks ago with some students from Loyola University and we ordered a large shish kabab entree with humus and tabuleh(sic). The food was good, however we found small stones in the tabuleh and when we told the manager he merely said that he would not charge us for the tabuleh. Needless to say I will not eat here again. The restaurant obviously has some major issues with hygiene and to be fair to us, the manager should not have charged us for the entire meal.

Just like other reviewers said, the best hummus and tahini sauce in Chicago. Chicken kabos are great...very tender with lots of flavor. Beef shwarama is a bit dried out. Jerusalem salad very super fresh and flavorful. Ful is different, but good. Lentil soup is yummy!!
